Sancreed Parish Council has been working with Cormac and Cornwall Council to improve the car parking area at Drift Reservoir.
A volunteer group of Parish Councillors were able to spend a day on site earlier this month, to bring about a transformation. Branches were cut back, overgrown vegetation removed, more mud and soil was scraped away from the car park surface, revealing walls and features that have not been visible at the site for the last few years.
Parish Councillors willingly took pride in their efforts to bring the car park area to a standard that local residents and visitors alike can now look forward to visiting.
There will be more clean-up days in the coming months and so local volunteers will be more than welcome to lend a hand! Look out for more posts on the plans to continue to maintain and improve this area.
