About Sancreed Parish Nature Action Group
Sancreed Parish Nature Action Group (SNAG) is a community group that leads projects and events to protect and improve the natural environment of our parish. It is not part of the Parish Council — the Council supports SNAG as a community nature project, helping with funding and offering some leadership and guidance, while the group itself is run by and for local people. This page brings together the group’s projects, events, reports and plans for the future, and new members and helpers are always welcome.
How the Parish Council supports SNAG
- We have set up a Sancreed Parish Nature Action Group webpage and social media platforms.
- We facilitate the use of a meeting place.
- We hold ‘ring-fenced’ funds for the group.
- We provide information and advice about projects and funding.
- We provide a Councillor (or Councillors) to act as direct liaison with the Parish Council.
