About our parish
Sancreed is a rural civil parish in West Penwith, at the far western tip of Cornwall, about three miles west of Penzance. Made up of scattered farms and hamlets, including Sancreed Churchtown, Newbridge, Drift, Grumbla and Brane, it is the only parish in Penwith without a coastline, and remains a quiet patchwork of farmland, moorland and ancient lanes. It is also unusually rich in history and landscape, from Sancreed Beacon and the ancient village of Carn Euny to the medieval parish church of St Creden and its old holy well. Read more →

How to report a problem
Report it to the Parish Council
As your local council, we help look after a range of community spaces and everyday amenities across the parish. These include our open spaces such as Sancreed Recreation Ground, the Parish Council car park at Drift and the Drift Reservoir car park, and the benches and noticeboards around the villages in our parish, together with the smaller day-to-day things that keep the parish looking its best.
If something needs attention, or you have a concern about the village, please get in touch. You can email the Clerk here, or contact any of your councillors on the Councillors page.
