Following the success of last year’s planting, we are re-flowering Sancreed Village Green, and everyone is welcome to lend a hand.
Saturday 29 August 2026, from 10am, at Sancreed Village Hall and the Village Green. This annual community event is funded and supported by Sancreed Parish Council.
The rough order of the day:
- 10am: Nature on the Green, with Nick Taylor
- 11am: Scything workshop with Scythe Kernow, and making hay bales with Nick
- 1pm: Seeding and planting wild flowers
- 4pm: Free tea and homemade cake for everyone who has helped
No experience is needed. Please bring gloves, and any tools or rakes you can spare, and bring your own lunch or picnic. Last year’s event was a wonderfully productive and busy community day, enjoyed by children and seniors alike.
