Sancreed Autumn Nature Talks

Sancreed Nature Action Group have organised a series of Nature Talks for residents and the surrounding Penwith community after the great success of our talk last November.

Our first of three talks is aimed specifically at how Sancreed can help establish better Networks for Nature and increase biodiversity. It is booked at Sancreed Village Hall on Monday 23rd September 2024: Hollie Ferris of Cornwall Heritage Trust will present on work at the Trust’s sites, tailored to West Penwith and Sancreed Parish. The talk will take place at 6.30pm and will be followed by questions, and substantial refreshments to eat/chat/get our Sancreed Nature Action Group growing.

The second and third talks will take place in the latter part of October and November respectively. We will hear from Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and Penwith Landscape Recovery Project. It is hoped the three talks will inform residents, and facilitate planning Nature Corridors, in partnership with local landowners/managers, to increase biodiversity on Penwith and. more widely in Cornwall.
