Some information on events that you might like to take part in. This event is on Bartinney Nature Reserve, up the track from Grumbla to Carn Euny. It is organised by the Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

23rd June 2025 – Longest Day (almost) evening guided walk over Bartinney Nature Reserve with West Cornwall Reserves Manager, Nick Marriott. Meet at the reserve 6.15 for 6.30pm, allow 2 hrs. This event is organised by our SPNAG and we are very grateful to Nick M for giving us his time and expertise about this wonderful, remote, maritime heathland. I will send exact meet up place before the event as it is tbc at the moment.
Tuesdays, 10-2pm, planting a growing corridor of trees in the parish of Sancreed. We haven’t got all the details for this exciting and ongoing project that Jan Dinsdale is co-ordinating but 4 or 5 farmers have come forward to have trees planted on their land so it’s all hands to the shovels!
